Mr. Connolly has 35 years of experience in the medical device industry as an entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and CEO. He cofounded several device companies, three of which (Novacept, Cohesion Technologies, Pulmonx) reached exits worth a combined $2 billion. He led the regional office for a $400 million venture capital firm and has served as CEO of two early-stage device companies. Mr. Connolly previously served as a Navy officer on a destroyer and taught physics at the U.S. Naval Academy. He has an MBA from Stanford, MS in mechanical engineering from MIT, and BS from the U.S. Naval Academy.
